Spaceshaper 9-14

Spaceshaper 9-14 is a version of Spaceshaper developed specifically to engage young people in the process of improving public spaces.

A Spaceshaper 9-14 workshop engages local young people in a range of hands-on activities to explore a public space, gathering information about how they see, and use the space. This information provides valuable insights that can be shared with adult stakeholders and the design team.

I was closely involved in the development of the Spaceshaper 9-14 toolkit, together with colleagues from CABE, beam, Kent Architecture Centre and the Architecture Centre, Bristol, and have both facilitated workshops and trained new facilitators.
